Diane Reeds - Music Director
I am Diane Reeds and I am the Music Director of the Casey United Methodist Church. I have directed the Children's Choir since 1970. This choir includes children from grades 1-6, practicing after school on Wednesdays and sings for the 10:30 a.m. worship service. I also started handbell choirs in 1981. Currently I direct an adult handbell choir, and one for junior high and one for high school students. I also direct the Sanctuary Choir, an adult vocal choir.
I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor of science in music education and majored in piano. I teach piano lessons and have taught for over 50 years. My husband, Phillip, is retired from the U. S. Postal Service, and currently is the mayor of Martinsville. We have two children and four grandchildren.
