Horse Trough Sunday!
Are you ready to profess your faith in Jesus Christ and receive the wonderful blessing and spiritual mark of baptism? You may, of course, speak with Pastor Penny anytime about baptism and choose any Sunday you would like to be baptized. At Casey UMC, our usual method of administering baptism is by sprinkling. However, if you would like to be baptized by immersion, Pastor Penny will be offering that opportunity on Sunday, May 15th. We will set up a horse trough outside in the Courtyard and offer baptism at the end of the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Those interested in doing this should pre-register by Monday, Monday, May 9. This will give Pastor Penny plenty of time to talk with you about the service and your commitment to Jesus Christ. Obviously, this is not for infants, and by church Discipline, we do not "re-baptize" people. So this is being offered only for those who have never before been baptized. If you have any questions or would like to talk with the Pastor about it, please contact Pastor Penny at 217-932-3115.

“Accelerate Your Growth”
In this short workshop, everyone will participate in learning to master simple proven techniques
to grow the church in attendance and discipleship.
3:15-5:00 p.m.
“Saying Goodbye, Saying Hello”
Since Casey UMC is now entering The Changeover Zone in which the church will be saying goodbye to one pastor and hello to another, this workshop will demonstrate fun, creative ways to grow during transition.
Cost for the Saturday workshops: $6 for one or $10 for both.
